Data for Model Evaluation
Data Composites
The above files are a grouping of data sets suitable for evaluation of global or regional chemical transport models. The file contains primarily tropospheric data from research aircraft campaigns, available as composites, either gridded at 5deg x 5deg x 1km, or as regional profiles. Reference: Emmons, L.K., D.A. Merged Aircraft Data
Measurements of chemical species from tropospheric and lower stratospheric research aircraft experiments have been combined into single files for each flight at a 1-minute time base. The original data are all available from public archives and users are urged to consult them for further details about the data. The link to the original archive is provided in each data file. These merged files are in NetCDF format available from the NCAR Community Data Portal.
